Big chance to redeem himself on the 15th and make a huge national move on a giant stage after last year's puss out against fsu. This dude stands to make a lot of money in the NFL.

So true. The dude absolutely **** himself last year. Epic puss out.

We were intimidated up front last year on offense.

You could tell certain dudes didn't want any parts of that FSU D-line.

Timmy Jernigan and Lawrence-Staple owned last year.

D-line seemed to be at least trying to get after it, they just weren't good enough.

S. Mcdermott was getting ragdolled, Asante was terrified, Warlord was shook...guys simply weren't ready for that type of game at that point.

Best basketball player at the school and that includes guys on the school basketball team.
Accurate.

lmao absolutely not. he wouldnt even in the rotation for the men's team.

love what hes doing on the FOOTBALL field though!

Wrong and a half. He would start and lead the team in most categories. He has a standing offer to join the basketball team if he wants to.

Have you even seen him play? If you have, you would know he is a superior player to the entire team.

I've seen him play. He would start and he would dominate all but elite ACC competition.

Clive has made some nice plays. Finally we have a QB that will throw to the TE which makes all the difference in the world. We haven't thrown to the TE like this since Chud was calling the plays.

What game were you watching? We were blowing fsu off the ball and duke was closing in on 100 yards rushing. Go watch the first Hal of that game again. Pruitt brought more in the box and we never adjusted to it. Don't downgrade our players and lift fsu up like that. It was not that bad. It was 21-14 at half and everyone was shocked at how well we were doing. Our coaches dropped the ball big time in that game..... Plus Stephen Morris suckin butt cheeks.

I've watched that game more times than you. Dudes were shook up there last year. Duke popped a couple cuz Duke is Duke. His long was 23, which means his other 22 carries yielded a less than impressive 74 yards. After the 1st drive, we were getting whipped up front. Jernigan and Lawrence-Staple were dominant.

If you want to kill Al Golden for player development, then you gotta give him a ton of credit for Clive Walford.

3 years ago, Clive was a soft football player, who had questionable hands, and didn't run clean routes.

Now the guy looks like the black Jason Witten. Blocks like a demon in the run game. Can't seem to do anything else but catch first downs and touchdowns.

What a remarkable improvement he's shown. Deserving of all the recognition he gets.

Plus, he now has a real QB who can throw more than one type of pass to TE. Kaaya is the new element and making $$ for Clive. That said, kid has improved a bunch; just you wouldn't notice without Kaaya.

That might be true but I have to agree with Caneszum in general. We had them at half time. They were on sidelines having hissy-fits, especially Rapist. Dumbo made adjustments and of course our brain trust just doesn't do such things. If we had Miami QB for that first drive of 2nd half, we might have scored and tied the game. The ghosts of all those Christmas past still torture the nole souls; they could easily have choke again. That said, they had the better team last year.

This year we have a real Miami QB. Unfortunately, we still have same coaching staff. IF the last couple weeks reflect a change in our coaching then we have a chance. If it was merely opponents playing like crap, then Dumbo will use us again. The good news is next week is win/win for us. If we win, we ruin yet ANOTHER nole season and return their nightmares. If we lose, chance of getting new coach comes back on the table. I can live with Al for another year if he crushes noles sad little hearts.

Exactly. And I hardly qualify our basketball team as, "elite ACC competition."
