And? We are built to run, we’re good at it. That **** works for us often. It’s not like we’re some team who can’t run and we just threw in the towel, that **** works lol.

If we air it out and throw a pick or it doesn’t work, then the complaint is how can we not just run the ball, it’s what we do!

Watching Dawson call one of his best quarters of his career at UM in the third quarter… it has to be Mario putting the conservative clamps down on the offense in the fourth quarter.

I dunno though, he came out guns blazing in the 3rd quarter to get Beck 2 more TD's. Then the defense **** the bed... was Heatherman playing soft? Seems like Castellanos had no trouble finding open receivers.

Given all the dumb things the players on offense were doing, I can understand going conservative. Last thing we needed was the OL to miss a block and let Beck get strip sacked to give FSU a short field.
 
The Prevent prevents you from winning just like going conservative on offense does.

Mario should've taken the FG at the end. The **** with the analytics.

Yeah just like last year. When We we said our defense sucks especially in the passing game and everyone was like we won, who cares. Then GT and Syracuse happened everyone acted like they saw it coming. Before that enjoy the winning, no one can stop us from scoring we good

Can’t base your stance on what ifs. Beck was on fire and they decided to take the ball out of his hands, meanwhile our backs went for 77 yards on 27 attempts.

I get that were built to run but it makes no sense to do that when the other team is playing with 8/9 in the box.
 
The perpetual goalline formations when we just need to keep the chains going to seal the game. I mean three and out and like 20 seconds off the clock? Another run up the middle? Yep. Another? Yep. Doesn't everyone know that is the next play?

When was last time Miami beat Florida & FSu both in the same season? Ever beat them in back-to-back games? Ever beat FSU, Florida & South Florida in a season? Ever accomplish those wins & thrown in a win over Notre Dame?
In short, stop message board *****ing & enjoy the bragging rights. Or go comfort a Penn State & Texas fan . . . or Nole & Gator, cause they got nothing to play for.

Castellanos willed that himself. The OL was a sieve. Tbh they probably would’ve had more luck just snapping and having guys run around while he ran for his life, instead calling actual plays. It’s like watching Kyler Murray.

Everyone is concerned about the offense going scared.

But it’s also the defense. We start playing really soft and vanilla late third quarter. I guess one could argue it worked out to get the W …. But nobody is satisfied with the last 17 minutes.

Genius FSU came back because the defense stopped attacking and started playing soft coverage. That cannot happen with the coach approving it
