I'm a defense wins CHAMPIONSHIPS kind of guy. Chances of winning 10 games are much higher when you have a great or efficient QB. There have not been many college football teams in the past 14 years to win 10 games without a prolific QB or an efficient QB with a high QBR rating.
No one has disproved this theory I've proposed. I never stated it's the end all be all of winning 10+ games. Roughly 94% of teams in the last 14 years have fit this bill. You want a lot of W's get those smart and Great QBs.
I finished the rant with a prediction that one of our boys on the roster is going to fit that bill. Either prolific or efficient. Enough to surprise the 6-6, 7-5 crowds that seem to be on the board.
Just throwing out a little optimism.
