I bought an Orange Bowl seat off Ebay a year or so afterward. Had it melted down and poured into a bullet cast like Gary Busey in Silver Bullet. Drove down to Coral Gables and shot a window out of the Hecht.

Flew down from DC with my Friend who went to UVA (he is not at all preppy like your typical UVAer). We sat in a section adjacent to the West End Zone and he was so confused as to why there were so many fights before the game even started and between UM fans. The game started and at first he was excited b/c UVA was doing well, but very quickly that changed to legitimate pity for all of us Miami fans.

I was in Vegas Blackout DEEEERUNK at a casino - 1st game I ever stopped watching at halftime. I just remember wandering around a ****** casino all ****ed off like a 5 year old who hadn't had a proper night's sleep.

As a Cane fan I had never traveled to Miami for a game. Told my wife no matter what we were going to that game because it was the last game in the OB. I still have the program book around here somewhere because it had me listed in Hurricane Club member section. That's when my wife found out I donate to Miami..."so you give money to the Hurricanes..huh"

I still have nightmares of the tight ends running wide open.

What a shytfest of a night.

One Canes site got shutdown by the owner with a few minutes left in the 4th.
Another went into Apocalypse mode.
A third started raising money for a banner to be flown.

Clappy woke up to a For Sale sign in his yard (not really, but many swore they were going to do it).

Werner was officially anointed worst OC in modern UM history (later others would grasp at that brass ring).
