Walton at Practice Today

I think he's staying. Got hurt early, wasnt 100% since, just had ankle surgery.

What is the value of a guy like that in the draft? 6th round? 7th? If I were the coach of an NFL team, I would be careful drafting a guy like Walton.

If its about the money, he should stay.

He'll have some good backup RB's to rotate and he'll show the scouts his leg is in good shape.

Get that 2nd/3rd round money.

We'll be fine without him, but I dont want him ending up like Lamar Miller and leaving a lot of money on the table.

I think Lamar Miller has done fine for himself.

Yes he has. Eventually.

Could've spent another year here and got paid a lot more money starting out.

Dont get it twisted; I understand the pressures of elite NFL talent, and 300k is a fortune to just about everyone. Added to the fact that RB's typically have the shortest usable shelf life in the NFL; power backs even more so.

I want to see our guys get the best deal out of college.

I really dont think Walton would get a great deal if he left early.

Or Lamar could have come back and torn his acl

love this! This is indicative of football in south florida. I see it even at the younger ages. kids got the goods!!!

He might need another year just to show he's healthy. I don't think his numbers will pop that high at the combine, so he won't make up any ground there. I do think he'll move up in the draft based on how versatile he is, catching the ball and playing as a gunner on ST's. Same with Homer.

A lot of good RB's in this years draft. Can be a top 3 RB in next years draft if he stays IMO.

I see we are slowly working our way to the inevitable hate towards this young man when he ends up declaring for the draft. It’s sad.

How long does it take to get back from ankle surgery? Let's say we make the CFP Championship. Would he possibly be available?

Man if this happened...game over for opposing teams, now that Homer has emerged. What a ******* 2 headed monster that would be

mark walton is the best cane since duke, imo, in terms of loyalty. this kid is an orphan at a time when many kids need direction and guidance. i hope he does whatever is best for him and his family.

Miller got really lucky that joe philbin was an idiot. He barely got 11 carries a game. Maybe less than that. Maybe his shelf life will be a little longer.

Walton is better than Duke, if I'm being honest. I want to love him but those pants are too far below the knees. looks ridiculous

Having about 300 miles to think about it, the Lamar Miller situation was different in the fact who was coaching him. After what happened to Duke, can you blame Miller for leaving? I cant. ****** Fat Al strikes again....
