Walton at Practice Today

We all trust Ariz with the good news but don't acknowledge the bad.

Walton ain't coming back guys. Let's move on from that theory. We will be fine regardless with Homer and the freshmen coming in.

He could step on the field this weekend and still escape healthier than anyone on unc.

It will be a business decision, but for a kid like Walton, it won't be an easy one. Not playing right now is killing Walton. I wouldn't be shocked if Walton returns. Miami is a legitimate national title contender next year.

A RB committee of Walton, Homer, Lingard & Davis would be old school Miami level Championship depth.

We would literally have the best backfield in the ACC & arguably the Nation.

Similar to James Jackson, Najeh Davenport, Clinton Portis, Willis McGhee, ect...

He’s a warrior and played like one...without a doubt.

He’s got my admiration and gratitude.

This, kid knew it was his money year and ran with purpose and showed much improved vision and cutting ability. With that said m think he needs to go pro and start making that money.

He would not have been the first college football player to sit out games because he was a little dinged up to make sure he was looking good for the draft. Walton was basically playing on one leg and was still giving it all he had, risking a career ending injury, let alone a season ending one. I hope he comes back too, but if there was ever a player who deserved our understanding and thanks if he decides to leave early and get paid, it has to be Mark Walton.

I think he's staying. Got hurt early, wasnt 100% since, just had ankle surgery.

What is the value of a guy like that in the draft? 6th round? 7th? If I were the coach of an NFL team, I would be careful drafting a guy like Walton.

If its about the money, he should stay.

He'll have some good backup RB's to rotate and he'll show the scouts his leg is in good shape.

Get that 2nd/3rd round money.

We'll be fine without him, but I dont want him ending up like Lamar Miller and leaving a lot of money on the table.
