Walton and Yearby

Only thing I hate about Walton is that he never runs with the ball in his left hand when he's running to the left of the field.

I noticed that as well...At least it's easily fixable

I'm not sure on Thomas brown's philosophy but a lot of coaches these days tell players not to switch hands anymore and leave the ball in most natural position.

People still thinking Coach Brown was giving us coach speak when he said we have elite RBs

Yea they do. I think that was overrated anyway. Prepping in case you fumble. Just don't fumble the ball. Its not a big issue.

I hope we can run against good teams.

He was a 1000 yard back last year on a limited amount of work

It wasn't a limited amount of work. Yearby had one of the biggest workloads for Hurricane RB ever.

Yearby's 205 carries were the 7th most ever by a Hurricanes RB in a single season.

I hate ruin on the lovefest for our RB's - but Yearby averaged 7.3 ypc through the first 4 games last season, then he averaged 3.9 ypc against ACC opponents.

Walton looks better and is hitting the hole harder, so that's a good sign. But there's still limitations to Walton and Yearby.

The RB production is going to look a lot different once we start playing ACC opponents.

Yearby is a midget. For every step Walton takes, yearby takes 7. I don't like him. I'd rather see Homer out there.
