Walter Brantley 2014 NT as a late Prospect UM should take a hard look at, for the type of 3-4 defense UM's runs Brantley would be an ideal space eater with a red-shirt year. Brantley list his stats as 6'3" 330lbs (I think its about 350lbs) but what is undeniable is his strength (370lbs bench & 550lb Squat) at the holding the point of attack against double teams, he also displays an outstanding motor for such a big player. Which is why he has been named multiple years to the all region and all state teams in Virginia.
Which his highlight video he uses his hands well to disengage from blockers as well as his long reach to cause fumbles. There are several plays where he is cut but gets back up and still makes the play.
Most of the SEC's schools were sending him mail early on but stopped because he had SERIOUS ACADEMIC issues, so he become a hot commodity for JUCO schools who came at him hard. But Brantley finally got his grades in order and received a qualifying SAT score in late January by which teams most teams had filled their 2014 spots.

Brantley Plays with a toughness and mean streak. Notice at the end of the video where an opposing OL cuts him and Brantley in turn punches him in the back of the head! (however in college that may draw a foul, but you have to love the tenacity)
