Sure can hit. Has 72 homers and .290 BA as a team. Pitching is pathetic. No starter has an era under 5.30

Those numbers are skewed a little bit because of Wake's stadium. It's 310 to LF and 300 to RF. Might as well be a Little League park. They have a turf field that plays unusually fast as well. So routine fly balls end up being home runs, and any hard hit grounder is getting out of the infield.

Expect runs to be scored.

Hopefully, Toral can get off the donger schneid. Stuck on 17 for a minute. But kudos to him, his average is still climbing. .262 on the season! 101 points over last year!

I feel about as good as possible after a loss, a single and we likely win that game. It we can get some pitching back, I think this team is a tough out in the postseason.

Pitching matchups for this weekend

Brian Van Belle (7-2, 3.25 ERA) will face Wake Forest ace right-hander Colin Peluse (3-5, 5.37 ERA) in Friday's series opener.

Freshman RHP Slade Cecconi (5-3, 4.10 ERA) will oppose Wake LHP Jared Shuster (4-3, 6.34 ERA) on Saturday.

Sophomore RHP Chris McMahon (2-2, 4.10 ERA) will make his first start since April 13, taking the mound Monday against freshman RHP Ryan Cusick (6-3, 6.43 ERA) on Monday.

We are probably taking one L this weekend.

Need starting pitching to get us in to the sixth at the very least... Don't see that happening aside from Friday.

Toral, Del, Gates, Lala, Vilar will be swinging for that short porch in RF all weekend.

LF-310, LC-370, CF-400, RC-367, RF-300

From Gino’s pregame interview, sounds like Zamora isn’t quite ready yet. He said Jenkins, Paige, and Cloonan are still banged up.
