If Toral plays it needs to be as a full time DH bc this dude is a liability in the field. You can't have him botching routine plays in close ballgames late...I dno if he's in his head this year but hes basically looked terrible offensively and defensively

If Kayfus is unavailable, I’d rather see Gil defensively at first. He was better than Toral when they split the spot as freshmen.

Only logic is that its a righty and its a chance to get him some confidence back

Why not DH Toral and give Thomas a try at first for some offense? He's a utility guy - has to have more athleticism than Toral.

I’m good with Toral in the lineup, just not in the field.

I think Toral can play good defense. He needs to pick up his game all the way around. He being just a DH is a mental setback for him in my opinion. He has draft aspirations. Needs PT at 1B to solidify himself.

Aspirations are nice but if it’s hurting the team then oh well for his aspirations
