This upcoming Friday, the (2-0) No. 5 Miami Hurricanes are coming into Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to take on the (2-0) Wake Forest Demon Deacons in Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium. Some Wake Forest fans are considering this game one of the biggest in recent history.

According to the Wake Forest Sports Ticket Office, the game is nearing a sell-out with the Deacs expected to show out on Friday night. There are currently a total of 378 tickets left for the game. I guess you can say Miami is everyone's Super Bowl this season: Stanford had E-40 at halftime and now Wake Forest has encouraged fans to wear black in hopes of a 'Black Out.' And no, we’re not talking about Florida State.

The last time the university encouraged fans to wear black was last year against NC State, when the Wolfpack defeated the Demon Deacons 34-24. Hurricanes fans, you already know the assignment. Grab your buddies, put on some orange and green, and we will see you all there at Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium.

I think the mafia is preferential towards UNC and DUKE, wide margin between them and the next school in NC State, then some more distance and you get Wake.

 

I get where/why that's the thinking and history with the ACC... buttttt, if the ACC learned from last year, they better hitch a wagon to their only hope at a championship run....

I’d like to think they’ll do everything possible to keep Miami from wanting to leave, but the ACC strikes me as the type that if you aren’t one of them they don’t care.

UNC has a pretty good DL, especially their DTs. They will eat against Clemsun's OL. I also pick Billy B as DC over the Clemson OC's name I'm forgetting.

I get spooky vibes for that game against UNC (Halloween). Them being 1 or 2 loss, night game in Chapel Hill expect foolishness lol

 

Re: FSU...listening to ACC Network. Wes Durham thinks timing is odd on Alford; thinks new AD probably already identified & that individual will take the job IF he’s given authority to fire Norvell. Thinks AD hire could be someone already inside FSU program & FSU has a plan in place, hence the timing. Mentioned also how Miami fired Blake James & followed up almost immediately in firing Diaz (not that anyone needs a refresher on that debacle).

Now discussing Lopez (2nd best QB in ACC according to Wes). They are all fired up in Winston Salem with Canes coming to town.
