They brought in so many transfers, but does anyone believe Bill is serious about his job after watching that game? That was a Belichick defense out there that couldn't stop a wet rag in run defense.
I am glad UNC, ESPN, conference realignment and all of them have been played by a guy, not wanting to be there. They need that terribly weak SMU schedule from last season.

I think they'll improve with time, but you have to wonder what happens there if they struggle. I am sure BB has a lot of pride and wants to win to prove everyone wrong. But imagine if he can't get the team off the ground. He'll dig in and insist he needs more time and that puts the admin in a tough spot if the results don't match what they're paying him.

Kind of wonder why folks close to BB didn't keep him off the sideline to avoid that situation. He could have easily made some cash as a media personality because he is an interesting character and instead he's toiling away in his 70s chasing teenagers.

Way too early to tell what happens but an interesting storyline to follow.
