Did some research and the only squad VT has played in any humidity similar to this Saturday was at ECU. It was hot and muggy that day, but it was ECU. The temps or dew points haven’t cracked 70 in facing any other opponent much less a conference opponent all season. Their opener at VT was 58F in Blacksburg.

Here’s to hoping they are gassed and CMR takes advantage. I hate to say the word ball control on here because we know how that has worked as of late, but if we get up in the 70+ play range on offense we’ve got them I think

It's not going to be that hot. It's November in Florida, and it's a week with a cold front. It'd be warmer during the day. Hopefully the humidity kicks up though.

I doubt it honestly all we heard during the Syracuse game was if Syracuse gets to X number of snaps Miami is in trouble meanwhile they did and we won and UNC had even more that Syracuse and we won that one too.

I was kind of hoping he'd go no-huddle anyway, to see if he could get Rosier focused like he has late in games when he's had to hurry.

I think it will, intellicast is showing 80% humidity at around 9pm

Yeah man! Why talk about things like game weather or game uniforms on a team message board?!

People might not know this but VT snaps the ball a lot too.

Top 10 in the country at 82 snaps a game

(We have 71 on average) Syracuse number 1

Duke, Toledo, UNC up there too so really we played everyone who does it

Don't look now, but there is currently a 30% chance of rain Saturday. I normally wouldn't care, but any rain we do get could be relevant due to the stadium's fragile turf this year.

From the National Weather Service's morning discussion regarding this weekend's weather:
"Models suggest this setting up a good fetch of low level moisture
funneled right into the coast. With cooler temperatures aloft
bringing a little more instability, the pattern looks good for
better coverage of showers, especially over the Atlantic and east
coast with a corresponding increase in cloudiness."

Rain = Win for the canes

VT looked like they didn't wanna get their hair wet in the rain against duke saturday
