To the folks that were able to attend game:

How did the noise level compare to FSU last year?

I was at the Syracuse game at it was pumping. I imagine the VT game was even louder. Can anyone confirm?

Asking these questions because on TV it seemed like we had a distinct home field advantage. ND game will be off the charts. I would have to think that after being at the Syracuse game that the ND game will be a 7 point advantage our way.

It was loud and rocking. There was something in the air in the tailgating.
This game will hopefully be an ugly, nasty, old school environment.

Ive been to probably 10 games or so at Hard Rock/Sun Life.

By far the loudest I've ever heard it in that stadium on Saturday night. My ears were actually ringing at a few points.

It was absolutely electric. If we could pack it like that for every game, there'd be few stadiums in the country that would be a more hostile environment for opposing teams. Very few.

loudest, most energized game I've been to in the last 10 years..more than fsu games

Speaking of VT, being surrounded by them here in VA, I just asked my assistant if there were "Hokie Tears" shed in her house on Saturday night.

It was louder than FSU last year, easily. I'm actually surprised that the VT offense didn't have any false starts.

I wasn't at the FSU game last year but I can tell you that the atmosphere for the VT game on Saturday night was insane...it was electric in that stadium. That's the biggest reason I am flying back down this weekend...can't miss this game. The only thing that I can compare it to was the FSU game in 2000 at the OB. That was the first game I had ever attended and it was incredible. The OB was literally shaking that day.

It was as loud as a football stadium can possibly get. We putting myths to bed one week at a time.

I’ve been to every canes game at HRH, and most at the OB since before I was a student at the U.

VaTech was as loud or louder than any game I’ve been to...and continually loud. The only difference is that the OB actually shook.

Loudest game by far, and it never stopped. Say what you will but I think the coaches and players comments in the press and social media re they feel our support and need our support have made us all a little louder.

Loudest game I've ever attended OB/pre-canopy/post-canopy included

As everyone has mentioned, there was just a different feeling in the air that night. And this weekend will be more of the same. The wolves come out at night

Nahhh that stadium on Saturday? It was loud. But we still have another level or two to reach.

I'm not saying that it wasn't as loud as it's ever been at the Rock, not saying it didn't mirror some classic nights in the OB like some are saying..

What I'm saying is, there wasn't any like... REAL DEAL situations where the crowd NEEDED to be loud. Sure, we had some big 3rd downs, etc. etc.

But pero let me tell you something.... if ND comes down to the 4th quarter, close game, and we need the crowd to get louder... there's still a couple levels we can go.

Place was louder than I've ever heard it including FSU games. Pretty awesome having a real home field advantage now.
