I could see Freeze going there and resurrecting them. A great coach there would concern me except I believe we are getting a massive improvement of our own at HC. As long as we are building and improving, I'd love to see VT become legit again.

I think there’s few, if any coaches, that could have success there. That’s an Athletic program with no championship level winning tradition in any sport. If by winning they mean a ceiling of 8-4/9-3 with a chance at a 10 win season every 5-7 years, then they’re absolutely right.

I don't get the whole "Freeze character issues" thing anymore...If Liberty, which is as just about as religious of an institution as you can find, can find it morally acceptable to hire Freeze, I think he's pretty much acceptable at any other program.

The president of Liberty who hired Freeze is into swinging and watching his wife get it on with other men. Freeze might be reformed, but his association with that school definitely isn’t proof.
