Who would you prefer as your bowl game opponent?

On their D-line, after you get through the 4 frosh, a senior, and a soph on the 2-deep, you're left with a freshman NG.

Saban, the god, will have to use his creativity and move some athletes at WR over to play DB
and employ a 1-1-9 base D.

With zero pass rush and a makeshift defensive backfield that doesn't have a clue on how to defend a thing called the forward pass,
I think we'll have a shot, or, at least cover the spread.

Back to serious.
We've had "problems" vs good D lines.
Playing Clemson in the ACCCG would have let us know if we've really improved there.
Thinking Miami would win is not looking at the game with tangible data.
It would have the feel of the FSU/Bama game a few years back, IMO.

Our shot would be a disinterested Bama with nothing to prove and Miami with everything to prove, and, the "any given day" angle.

I do like the 1-1-9 base D.

As ferocious as it is legendary.

No way in **** Miami today beats a team of Bama's recruiting class.

I don't know if people can see how destructive and exposing the loss to GT was.

We will know more about how deeply the rot runs these next few games and into bowl matchup.

GT L appears to be catastrophic set back for program.

They have to get mad and get over it, but setback it was.

Give to give UF payback. Who knows how the season would have went if we won that game. Were not ready for Alabama. Im all for playing anybody, anywhere, but wed get our asses handed to us. Think wed beat UF, and that would be huge. Like to see the seniors get their revenge too

Bama can be beat and if y'all think we can't handle them with our florida athletes y'all smoking Molly. Any team can be beat at anytime. we just got to take care business when we get to that scenario💯... I'm pulling for us to put everyone on notice..🙌🙌

y'all need to get off Bama nut sack.. and the Hurricanes train.. yea yea Gt this Gt that it was one setback. but we got back into that game also. so take fair weather fan ***'s to Bama board and continue stroking them up its Js.. Go Canes and beat whoever we have to face💯🙌 I'm a confident Canes Fan.
 
We almost beat the gator in the opening game. If we cut sacks down a mere 6 we could kill them now. There is no way in **** Saban will let us out with anything less that a total beatdown. He had zero interest in recruiting down here against a Miami that doesn't logbook like a girls team. Manny's been out-coached by chumps all year.

I'd love to see how good the Canes would fair since the team has progressed since August. Gimmie them gates. We get Bama in 21.
 
You guys are really insane with all this Bama talk...

They have an 80% Blue Chip ratio, we don't have the OL to deal with their Pass rush, we wouldn't be able to run the ball on them at all & all their WR's would make our DB's look silly in coverage. Tua's not the only reason why they win games & are dominant, they don't need Tua to beat us, we've lost to way worse QB's before, we simply don't have the manpower to keep up with Bama.

I'd much rather play teams like Tennessee, Kentucky, TAMU, USC, Washington, Texas, K State, Iowa St, Indiana, Iowa etc.. **** even teams like App St, Tulane, Nevada, Temple or FAU lol.

Getting embarrassed in a Bowl game does nothing for us but hurt us further on the recruiting trail. STAY AWAY FROM BAMA, we ain't ready for that kinda smoke yet.

I'd rather a guaranteed win than play a team that will rip us apart at the seams & set back any kind of momentum we might have heading into the offseason. Have yall forgotten about the BEATING Wisconsin put on us in a Bowl game? We don't need to see or feel that again.
 
At best, our regular season will end with 8 wins. How the F would we be matched up against either of these teams? Wouldn't we face another 8 win team?
