No QB, they have to rely on the running game... so Bama is the easy target. Plus a big win would put us on a even playing feild with recruiting. I cant imagine how many kids would look at our program differently and come here to beat Bama again in 2 years!
We already know we shouldn't have lost to Florida, I want the greater opponent.

Can’t go wrong with either. I said after we lost to UF we would see them again in the OB. I still prefer to right that L but beating Bama also has tremendous upside.

Beating Bama?

Are you serious? The team that lost to high school GT?

Tragically, Miami couldn't beat Bama's 3 deep right now.

thats pushing it..not sure that we can beat Bama, but we're not getting pushed over by them right now either.

I would really love to see our o-line redeem themselves against UF though. 10 sacks is where this season started off wrong...and that is a great place to stick a fork in that stat.

Any chance to whip the gaytor.. I'm ******* in!

By this reasoning, shouldn't we be winless this year?

Not beating their three deep?

I like our shot against a QB that's not even listed on the 3-deep.
Jeff George's son walked on last year.
On their D-line, after you get through the 4 frosh, a senior, and a soph on the 2-deep, you're left with a freshman NG.
Backer will be a little light as well.
Saban, the god, will have to use his creativity and move some athletes at WR over to play DB
and employ a 1-1-9 base D.

With zero pass rush and a makeshift defensive backfield that doesn't have a clue on how to defend a thing called the forward pass,
I think we'll have a shot, or, at least cover the spread.

Back to serious.
We've had "problems" vs good D lines.
Playing Clemson in the ACCCG would have let us know if we've really improved there.
Thinking Miami would win is not looking at the game with tangible data.
It would have the feel of the FSU/Bama game a few years back, IMO.

Our shot would be a disinterested Bama with nothing to prove and Miami with everything to prove, and, the "any given day" angle.
