What was the worst play call offensively or defensively vs Virginia?

Another thing I've noticed is Lashlee does ZERO trick play attempts. Usually you have to at least attempt one at somepoint. Has he ever schemed up something like that?

Play action: they are selling out on run, last thing you need is a disciplined edge guy staying on QB and smacking TVD as he’s turning around and forcing a fumble.

Sweeps: there is a pretty high chance you’re going to go out of bounds and stop the clock. Don’t trust any of our guys to cut up and stay in bounds.

The play calling is a completely different topic. I can sit here and ****t on it with you all day lol but I just don’t knock the decision to run the clock and go for the field goal.

Right. Maybe my examples weren't the best, but something other than running down the middle 2x then a wasted repositioning/loss of yards down would have been nice.

You also have to play to the momentum of the game. We were driving on them. TVD was getting into a rythm. I'd rather "accidentally" go out of bounds to stop the clock while attempting to score and actually score on the series and leave them with minimal time remaining. As far as fumbles, we had multiple time outs with oppourtunities to yell about ball security to the players.

So in playing to the momentum, the momentum was that Borregales had only kicked PATs. So it wasn't like he was 4/4 on FG kicking for the game to that point. He's essentially been iced already due to time outs and not having kicked any in game FGs.

Again, I hear you, but playing scared never works. You've got to play to win.

Get to a point where you can trust your Defense to make a final stand with less than 1 minute remaining. Put the pressure on the other team while you have home field "advantage" (prob not the best with the tiny crowds, but ya).

Get Blake and Manny out of here. If you aren't going to get him out of here someone needs to get him some high dose TRT so he quits coaching like a *****.
 
The safety play. You know your OL is getting crushed and you decide to run it with your smallest RB. Awesome!

Which is why i voted for that play as well.

I knew it was coming, They knew it was coming...

Navaughn Donaldson and Jakai Clark didnt know it was coming.

I swear to god we wont get 1 off sides either with this offense at its "clap"...If ever there was a point to try to get a free 5 yds it was there....

and quite simple i would of came out in Double tight with Mallory and an Extra Lineman ..Since we dont have a TE on the roster who can block and just ran dives or off tackle to get some space.

* I swear late in the game the announcer almost had a heart attack when we had a 4th and 1 saying why the **** are we in shotgun running the inside zone
