Vols Tears

I think they know if they get Nico, they chase off both Sayin and Kienholz, both of which are getting rave reviews right now. Wouldn’t do that if I’m OSU imo
Shiiidddd Tavien St Clair the #4 overall recruit from this past cycle too. You'd **** all those kids off ESPECIALLY Sayin

Vols have no choice in this imo..
But now y'all see the start of the full ramifications of ignoring this for so **** long...sad **** they didn't have way more foresight..
The NCAA tried to talk some sense into UT Giving an absurd amount of money to a Highschool player, but Tennessee brought the big guns of the Governor & Congress on the Ncaa

You could be right idk. I just assumed that they didn’t think he was proven enough yet especially since they knew they were going to the sec. He’s shown he can win games in the conference now..

And this makes sense, because once a player doesn’t perform his NIL obligations, the university can stop paying him. And can provide that money to a different player. NIL is a not a guaranteed contract like pro sports.

The really interesting situation which has yet to play out to my knowledge, would be in Nico stopped playing but still performed his NIL obligations, thereby fulfilling his contract. he would still demand to be paid. The university would most certainly argue that the value of the players NIL has been diminished by not playing and would try to keep some/most/all of the money.

I know for most of you things like I have written is a reason you hate lawyers. But for lawyers these kinds of facts make for very interesting cases, and we often root for disruption.
He never met his obligations even while on campus. Apparently ghosted the collective many times, never showed up for meet and greets, autograph sessions, etc.

Apparently the Boosters and Admin had already began losing patience with him, but that’s only what I’ve read as I’m not with the program.

All of this stems from his dad per reports, so his dad most likely just tanked his career for a quick payday that he may not even get elsewhere.

We will see how it plays out for Nico. I like UT taking the hard line approach here. My sarcastic point was we always hear these types of shade thrown out against one side or the other.

Cam's dad was very overbearing and enabling Cam to make poor decisions at about the same age as Nico. Cam clearly grew a ton on and off the field and will be the #1 pick. Nico has time to improve in both parts, but that is up to him.

Remember Georgia fans and websites said our starting QB has a poor work ethic, etc. etc... we have even seen a few comments here...

What kind of ridiculous horse**** is shooting out of your mouth now?

Cam Ward? Are you ******* kidding me? So your argument is that Cam Ward's father forced him to go to Incarnate Word for the NIL? Or Washington State?

You are ******* unbelievable in your laser-focused quest to **** all over Miami and your perception of all of the "hypocritical" Miami fans. Only one person can be as consistent as you, though sadly, your consistency is in Moping.

Just shut the **** up on Cam Ward. It's just your insecurity and hatred substituting for a logical and accurate post.

That was around the same time that Rashada was offered the 14.3M false deal by Florida.

This is incredibly poor timing...unless the price is $0.99...

Nico and his pops putting his future at risk. NFL keep tabs on everything and look at all data points to differentiate guys on their boards. Good faith negotiating goes a long way. This type of negotiating is a bad look, especially when the guy hasn't even taking that next step and elevate his play to be on par with other top college QBs. He only had 2600 yards in 2024 and <200 yards in 8 of his 13 games. 11 of his 18 passing TDs came against Vandy, UTEP and Chattanooga. Why he thinks that type of production warrants doubling his NIL is beyond me. Against Florida/Bama/Georgia/Ohio State he went for 159 per game with 1 total passing TD and 2 INT....oof.

Now he has to learn a new offense in a very short fall practice window. He still may come out of this looking good if he produces and wins. But if he struggles again.....his stock can really plummet.

Watch him play and he has shown nothing…not one phase of his game makes you go “ok there it is”

He can’t read defenses, he doesn’t run well, no touch and “ok” arm strength. It truly wouldn’t shock me Lagway isn’t healthy that UF got involved for a 1 year fill in.

I think he play last year initially put his NFL future at risk… now this. Yikes

That was stupid on their part. Just jump through the few hoops and pick up the NIL money even while negotiating for more NIL or with other universities.
