Let’s play what if’s…..
what if Tennessee gives Beck a bigger bag AND the chance to come back to the SEC..

Does he do it ?

The SEC does not allow intra-conference transfers within the spring window.

It’s why there isn’t an SEC school linked to Nico.

Are we TALKING to Nico? TRADE Beck for Nico? BECK goes back to SEC and we get a healthy guy
You want another QB to have us by the nuts as a program over a legit, proven winner? Pass that to me, I had a long work week.

Needs to be something to keep players from essentially holding schools hostage. Not saying they don’t deserve compensation but shouldn’t be able to renegotiate whenever the mood strikes.
The player can hold a school hostage because the player is NOT being paid to play. He/she is being paid for their name, image and likeness. As such, every NIL contract signed, and I have read UM’s standard contract, literally provides that the player will be paid NIL money even if the player does NOT play, so long as the player performs his/her contractual obligations to earn their NIL money.

Unless and until the player signs a contract whereby the player is paid to play, there is nothing any university can do to stop what Nico is doing to UT. By the way, the reason universities cannot pay players to play, is because the NC2A has fought that tooth and nail for years and years. And the NC2A is nothing more than a collection of member universities, including UT. So essentially, UT fought to stop universities from paying players to play, and helped to create the very mess they are now in.

You should NEVER, EVER, EVER feel bad for a university for how a player treats it. Every university is receiving exactly what they fought for. F them.

I hope we make him a low offer to be our backup. If you don’t offer, you won't never know. He is exactly what we need as a backup this season. Luke gets a pass, as he should. That's it. Our QB room is not good enough to count on it for a win or 2 if needed to make the playoff. We won't even really know what we have on both sides of the ball until Beck is back in Fall Camp.
Sarcasm?

UT did the right thing.

As to trading Beck for Iamaleavin? No f’ing way. I’d rather take my chances on Beck getting healthy than take this mediocre diva.
Actually UT did the wrong thing and paid this guy millions already.

They are just not adding to their mistake. Better than nothing but it does not erase the original mistake.
