Virginia Tech will never again be as great as Miami

They've brought some joy to their local community, but they've always been nationally irrelevant. Had they not Been a mainstay on our schedule, they'de be viewed as a Memphis, Utah or Vandy.
 
Miami wins Saturday in front of a frenzied raucous crowd which they will need . Then rivals.com 2nd rated 2018 recruiting class and #5 2019 recruiting class puts Miami in a class by themselves and the new era becomes solidly entrenched. Sorry Hokies never will match what we got comin....

I'm really tired of these Hokie fans thinking we are average at best etc etc. What have they done that deserves to be favorites in our house. I am tired of being politically correct when these guys on their board shows zero respect. Historically in showdown games Miami wins this game at home. I Think Miami will blow these guys out. This is a game we have waited for since we joined the ACC . I don't think their QB is going to know what hit him. My thinking is they are favorites because Malik was hurt last game. If he remains healthy watch out the barn will blow open.
 
I was at the sugar bowl in 99. Vtech had the best player on the field and all of CFB that year Michael Vick. He made all the overrated 1st round FSU defenders look silly. That was Vtech's only shot at a title and they were way overmatched.

1. Santana made them look like **** when we played them earlier.
2. U are correct... Vick was best player.... But Warrick was the difference.... That bobbed td catch did them in
 
Been years and years since we played a meaningful game like
This. This game is bigger than stats or who Miami has played or how great Bud Foster is a defensive coaching legend. This is a statement game in interviews with the players today they said in as many words we have been waiting for this game for a long time.

The stars will align tonight just like it did last year in Blacksberg. Deny what you want Hokie fans but deep down you know you will get your medicine. If you don't like the idea like I said your in denial.

Their pinnacle was back-to-back ACCCG rivalry with Boston College when Matt Ryan was there. And their 4 Conference Titles during that span led them to a 1-3 record in BCS Bowl games.

They have been a thorn in our side but havent done **** when they were the top dog in the Coastal. But we've sucked the past 13 years. When we are good we win Championships. When they are good they lose BCS Bowl games.

Santana made FSU look like $h!t that year also. Could've won 11 games that year if we didn't have that meltdown vs ECU, and give up that late TD pass to that school that covered up child rape.
