Virginia Game Attendance

I’ve been to a lot of the games that weren’t Nd or va tech. 45-50k has been the attendance. What does hrs seat? If it’s 65k, there are more than 10k empty seats for those games. I’ll be there. But the announced crowd isn’t the actual crowd. I hope for senior day and the final home game and all that I’m wrong. We’ll see.

There aren't going to be 20K empty seats for this game, and there haven't been 20K empty seats for any game this year.

Toledo. And maybe Bethune. But other than that, we've had 50k+ for every game.

Anything over 50k and they’ll be just as many UM fans as there was for the ND game. It’s gonna be loud again despite the nooner.

There were not 15,000 ND fans at that game.

Yes there were. I was there thank you. However, there was less than 5K after halftime.

So, you're saying that 10,000+ people left that game after halftime? You're either lying or trolling. I was there too. You notice 10,000 empty seats in a 65,000 seat stadium.

Get your asses to hardrock saturday! I don't care that we are playing UVA at noon.

It is senior day and the last home game of the year.

Don't let these seniors remember a half empty stadium in their last home game.

This is a trap game and we need the crowd to come!

If we finally want to get rid of the reputation of not filling our stdiums... then we need to show up to all games whether its college gameday or bethune ****ing cookman

GET YOUR ASSES TO THE GAME AND GO CANES!!!

WRONG! This is NO trap game for Miami! Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're entitled to your 1st Amendment opinions and all that. In other words, the coaches, and players have come to far, to allow Virginia RUIN Miami's Senior Day and what not!

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a lot of people who felt the hype and wanted to go to the last two games but couldn't afford it. These tickets will be much cheaper and they'll be able to bring their family. Expect a lot of kids at the game

Well if you were there then you can't count very well. We had more in our student section than they had fans. Why do people think that they had so many fans?

They had maybe 5k fans. Maybe.

Syracuse was probably in the 45-50k area.

I know. I was there. They probably brought maybe 1500-2000 more than VTech.

orange and blue parking is sold out... only yellow left... i honestly didnt think we'd have a good turnout (just the normal diehards), but i think because its basically the only thing worth a **** in this city in sports, so everyone is making an event of it...

Yeah, I'm a troll lmao. I was being sarcastic about 10K leaving. Many of the ND fans did leave early though. There were at least 3 times many more ND fans than Vtech. I'm not going to be petty with an exact number, but it was way more than 5K. I've never seen so many tailgates for opposing teams other than FSU at Hardrock. They traveled very well. It's a moot point as we won. You all claiming they had nobody there just isn't true. I know what I saw.

I was at the game. I'd say maybe 5K ND fans. Probably closer to 4K. I was pretty surprised, I was expecting a lot more.

No idea why you;re saying 15K. Either you need your eyes checked or your trolling just to **** people off

Bruhh no way there were 15k ND fans. Not even if you put the ones that just tailgated.. I was there too. You’re blind

their are only 1k tickets left through UM and only 4,500 tickets left on stub hub

Yup. I'm sticking with 57-60K (or more).

easy,

Dont think its worth arguing about how many Noter Dumbsters were there, but my guess is that its a lot closer to 5K than 15K.

There may only be a few thousand tickets available but that doesn't take into account season ticket holders who won't show up. There's thousands of people who bought season ticket packages but only went to a few games this season. Thats' why announced attendance is always so much higher than actual butts in seats attendance. I'm holding out hope that we get a good crowd Saturday but honestly, I'd be shocked if more than 50,000 people actually show up for a noon game against Virginia.

I'd be shocked if only 50K show up. This isn't 2012, and this isn't a noon game for a 5-4 Miami against 2-7 UVA. It's 9-0, # 2 Miami, with more buzz around this team since 2002, against 6-4 UVA. This is different.

If it was a noon game for a 5-4 Miami vs 2-7 UVA, there'd be 30,000 people max. I hope they have a full house but it's incredibly rare for a game like this to draw a huge crowd. Even during the peak years in the early 2000's, there'd be 20,000 empty seats at the Orange Bowl for Big East snoozers. Maybe, if the game was 3:30, you could see a bigger crowd but noon+Virginia= 3/4 full stadium.

I know that very well, but this isn't a Big East snoozer, which is my point. And 20K empty seats at the OB was 52-55K. Anyway, a game like this in 2000-2003 would have drawn 50-55K. But, I think there is more buzz at this moment because people have been waiting since 2001 for this moment. I'm not saying sellout, I'm saying 57-60K.

15k my ***. And after halftime their might have been 100 left in the stands.

I think the attendance could be close to VT. Think about how quick the season went by since we have been having so much fun. I been to all the games except ND and the feeling after each game has been great. It's Sr day so we need to show up. But people need to understand it's been well over 10 years since we have been losing the fans are just going to bring them back.

Alot of fans have no ties to Miami other than watching the football team. It's like a pro team. This season will go a long way for next season ticket sales.
