Loved him on the call last night. He’s articulate, knows his stuff, and did a great job of being objective as possible.

You can tell how much he loves Miami, but he also isn’t afraid to call them out when they are doing something they shouldn’t be. He’s got a bright future, and I hope to see him on more calls going forward.

Not sure what you’re getting at. All commentators need to be articulate, but the reality is half of them stumble over themselves and can barely form a coherent sentence.
 
I met Chiznik in the late 90s in SanDestin Fl...(SEC Meetings at the Hilton) I was an Executive Sous Chef....he was standing with Tommy Tubberville....Even back then he had huge admiration for UM....

Vilma was fine. Three people in the booth is terrible. Broadcast was terrible. Camera work was terrible. We missed an entire set of downs while they were babbling about qb transfers.

He is articulate, and not all commentators are. The previous 2 games we had to listen to bumbling Dude, forget his first name...Ware that said Jaquan was faking and Deejay threw a punch while trying to stiff arm. Im black so i take no offense about any if it. Not everyone is articulate, particularly former ball players

To piggy back off this, there are a ton of terrible, inarticulate white commentators. My comment had nothing to do with race.

Vilma was great as the commentator, play by play absolutely sucked.

I’d like to get both Vilma and Connelly on the call for the game next week. I’d actually learn something.
