Per Barry Jackson, ESPN is going to announce him as a CFB studio analyst for 2017 season

It'll be nice to have a Cane on ESPN to drown out all of the FSU/UF/O$U love

"Look for ESPN to announce that it’s hiring former UM linebacker Jonathan Vilma as a college football studio analyst. He will debut on College Football Live at 1:30 Monday, with a more expanded role to be announced closer to the season."

He's going to be a good one....

Vilma will probably be successful in just about anything he tries....

But I think he has a bright future in this profession....

Lewis. Irvin. Sapp. Our greats usually end up covering League, because their football careers were longer there than CFB. I've long felt that the traditional powers get to slant coverage in their favor because their CFB greats tank in the pros, and get recycled into CFB coverage, where their name has weight.

Here's hoping Vilma evens out the booth.

I agree, will be great to have him there. Will be awesome to have somebody super Pro UM there at ESPN.

Come on bro.. at least put an Al Golden warning tag on here.. Between that & all the Swasey talk, I'm getting nauseous. Love me some Vilma. Old school Cane. He won't hold back at all.

he's on right now for the daily "College Football Live" show on ESPNU. he's arguing that players should be paid and Dabo is putting him in his place. doesn't look good for Vilma.
