Viewership

IIRC, having the most viewership is a bonus payout for whoever wins it in the ACC...so with that said, does CFP viewership count in the numbers?

A little extra perspective, though: leaving head-to-head out, FSU's had a game against Alabama as well,...a huge draw on their own. They've also played 7 games,...1 game more than the other big draws.

UNC's had games against Notre Dame AND Clemson; nuff said.

Clemson's had us, UNC, and LSU. Notre Dame playing/losing to another Top 10 opponent while our "big draw" rivalry game was on obviously took away alot of viewership. We'll be passing UNC this week obviously and should be 3rd until the ND game catapults us ahead.

West Coast games (USC, Oregon, et. al.) can tend to have less competition due to time slottings. When you step back and analyze things a little further,....it all makes sense.

6-0 Miami - #1 team in the country (#6 in total ACC viewership thus far with 13.36M) - remaining TV games:
1. Pitt (#6 in total ACC viewership thus far)
2. UNC (#3 in total ACC viewership thus far) - wash with UNC
3. ND - will be MASSIVE
4. Duke (#16 in total ACC viewership thus far)
5. VaTech (#13 in total ACC viewership thus far)
6. Boston College (#15 in total ACC viewership thus far)

3-4 F$U (#1 in total ACC viewership thus far with 20.06M) - remaining TV games:
1. Clemson (#2 ACC viewership)
2. Boston College (#15 ACC viewership)
FRIDAY - 3. Pitt (#6 ACC viewership)
4. NC State (#12 ACC viewership)
BLACK FRIDAY - 5. Florida (SEC-SEC-SEC)

4-2 Clemson (#2 in total ACC viewership thus far with 15.55M) - remaining TV games:
1. VaTech (#13 ACC viewership)
2. FSU (#1 ACC viewership)
3. Syracuse (#17 ACC viewership)
4. GaTech (#7 ACC viewership)
FRIDAY - 5. Duke (#16 ACC viewership)
6. South Carolina (SEC-SEC-SEC)

4-2 UNC (#3 in total ACC viewership thus far with 14.04M) - remaining TV games:
1. Syracuse (#17 ACC viewership)
2. Miami (#4 ACC viewership)
3. UConn
4. Louisville (#5 ACC viewership)
5. UVa (#10 ACC viewership)
6. NC State (#12 ACC viewership)

Takeaways:

Miami has 3 pretty good games coming up, the numbers should skyrocket. The last 3 opponents will likely rise in viewership due to playing Miami, and Miami should not be "as penalized" playing those teams, as we are #1.

F$U has 2 good games (except for Boston College and NC State), but two games are on Friday (one being Black Friday). It seems like F$U is our primary competition to be the most viewed ACC team.

Clemson has a pretty weak remaining slate, with the "best" possible games being F$U and GaTech. Unlikely to finish as the #1 most viewed ACC team.

UNC has six games left, and a weak remaining slate. But they play Miami. Also, they suuuuuuuck. Unlikely to finish as the #1 most viewed ACC team. By the time we play Pitt and UNC plays Syracuse, we should leapfrog them to the 3rd most-viewed team in the ACC, and certainly by the time that we play ND and UNC plays UConn.
