It’s probably Notre Dame- Urban has said on record that ND is his dream job- he’s a devout catholic- in fact he is named after a series of eight popes who held office- off and on- from the early 3rd century until the mid 17th century
 
The notion that Miami will EVER hire Urban Meyer is absolutely asinine.

We'll have an on-campus stadium before that, and THAT notion is inconceivable.
 
Let Urban come in & run his circus.

By the time UM get's the death penalty we will be at #8 or #9. Sadly that's better then the current state of this no pulse program.

Would make for one **** of a 30 for 30 also.

Beat down by one of the real college football teams in a title game or playoffs.

Miami used to be all about NC's.... Now, just sad.

Miami is not a destination for a top5 coach. Period. We have to do more with less. Always have and always will. Argue it all you want but it's true.

O I'm not disagreeing I'm just saying, if we play team B, and team B as 11 guys over there on defense that played some high school ball, they can pose a problem, they already know the play. We shoulda waxed the coastal this year, its garbage. Maybe like you say next year they'll be even worse, but even if we get through that anybody knows its still a joke till we beat a good team

Look at who we play and you'll see that three teams have new coaches who will need to rebuild/retool, Central Michigan just went 1-11 this year, V.T. and Pitt can't throw the ball worth a crap (worse than us), Virginia loses 3/4 of their secondary. That leaves Florida and Fla St being the only teams that could challenge us next year. So even if Average Richt loses 2 games, he will more than likely win the Coastal and Miami will be in another ACCCG game. The 2nd time in 3 years which means he ain't going nowhere!

You are wrong because it is flawed thinking. All of those teams have sufficient talent level to defeat Miami if we are at current level or nearby. Big picture always dominates subjective nitpicking of one variable after another, which is what you are doing. I don't even have to look at the list of teams or know anything about them to understand that some will wildly overachieve your forecasts, some will be as you project, and some will be even worse.

Moderate teams do not run the table, or close. The Canes absolutely can win the division but it will require a vastly improved team and power rating, not a flawed team picking on teams with even greater flaws.
