And how many points did they allow off 3 ints?

Obviously the 4th sealed the L…
The 1st and 2nd INTs were great plays by the LOU defenders and were basically punts with LOU getting the ball on their own 32 both times.

The 3rd was 4th down desperation throw (with the DT about to hit him) that ended up on the LOU 28.

The 4th ended the game.

The defense definitely didn't lose the game but they did allow LOU to gain yards and constantly keep us in **** field position.

Not commenting on the plays of UL defenders…

The DEFENSE bowed up and didn’t give up any points which was the point of post…

Yes, the defense got carved up but they did only give up 10 points after 1st two drives…

That’s what I was responding on…

If I told you that UL would only score 10 points from midway through the first quarter to the end of the game….you wouldn’t take that? You wouldn’t say that the defense must have played really, really well in that timeframe? Come on man.
They were good enough to win. Especially with the fumble recovery. This isn't on them.

But I do hate to see holes schemed into the alignment that even I can see from my couch. That and playing too soft on the wideouts. They made enough plays to win but I am not going to pretend I was thrilled with it.

Smh. You realize rhe students deal with the same traffic right ?alot dont have cars and have tell in the buses. My son got on the bus just after 5 and didn't make into the game until just after miami scored their first td. Took over 2.5hrs.
Were there student busses that left after 5? That explains why there were no students in the lower bowl sections reserved for them but magically they were packed in 2nd half if so

Lmao. The fans have shown out this entire year more consistently than in any recent year than I can remember.

Most fans ******* work and have to trek all the way to HR from work in some of the worst traffic on the planet. This is partly why Friday night games are ******* stupid and another reason the ACC is so ******* bush league as a conference.

I was at the game and just want to be clear: the fans were not flat. The fans brought it once the crowd actually got to their seats. I have no idea where you’re coming up with this.

Now if you want to say the fans got flat after giving up 15 3rd and longs or throwing 5 picks I can understand that one

Huh? The defense adjusted and handled their business.
The offense minus Toney didn't show up.

Yeah I think they started at 4 and you can get on a bus up to maybe 7. So some probably did plan on being here late. But still. My son waited on friends as they all had class until 4. Grabbed something to eat and got on at 5.

I don’t think Louisville is the better team. They do have better coaches on offense. They played their best and we played our absolute worse and still almost won. Which kind of makes it worse. If we would have just played ok and done what we are supposed to do. We walk away with an easy win. We continue to have letdowns every single year and the penalties are out of control. Just hope they bounce back big and not see a repeat of last year.
