2018 Miami commit Josh Jobe showed out in his team's 21-14 loss against Coral Gables in the 8A playoffs on Thursday night. Although it appears likely that Jobe is bound to decommit with Alabama hot on his trail, this video highlights Jobe's elite physical traits and versatility. He is a top priority for the Canes regardless of his imminent decommitment.

Meh?

You crazy. Trust me if you have seen this kid play in person. You would see why me & Pete have been raving about this kid for a long time. He is Elite, no way around it.

The thing is, those were basically every single one of his touches. They used him sparingly there and those were the results. That was the first time all season that he played offense. His burst on another level

Also I think this is important because it shows Jobe's ability as a football player.

When Deon Bush was coming out of Columbus, everybody knew he had the physical tools, but the questions were whether or not he could actually play the game (look at Jamal Carter).

Never in a million years would Columbus have used Deon on offense because he had no ball skills. Jobe is a different animal.

Not to mention this is a team that has a guy like C.J. Henderson and they chose to give Jobe the rock when it mattered.

I don't think it would be wrong to add him to the basket of Must-not-miss elite talent out of SoFla like Jeudy, Dalvin Cook, Calvin Ridley, etc...

Huge test for Rick and staff.

I might be wrong on this, but I think Deon played some offense during his sophomore season. They had zero talent at WR. On third down, they would bring in Brian Santos and I think Deon and tyrell Hemingway to play WR.

Jobe is definitely faster than Deon in a straight line.

The only kid I can remember who truly played both ways was Tyrell, who was used in more of a Devin Hester role at Columbus were he played more as a returner than anything, and then some other kids that go D2 every so often. Tyrell got the most burn at Safety his senior year. Columbus strays away from kids playing both ways unless they are truly special talent. The only real talent they had at WR that year was Deon's brother Gary who went to purdue as a WR.

Deons senior year had one offensive play set-up specifically for him against Belen and he just dropped the ball, a wide open pass...for those that don't know Deon, he plays with contacts and is blind as a bat without them.

Epic failure if he doesn't sign with Miami. No way to deny it. If not, 9-4 will continue to be the standard

Gary was class of 2009; where they had 2 other D1 WRs. He was the best athlete, but not the best WR on the team. That was Kenny Whittaker or Erik Lora. I'm referring to the following season. Tyrell started at OLB, after playing WR for his first two seasons. Santos was the PR and he scored a receiving td against MNW. On third down they would bring in Santos and I think Deon and Tyrell. Their #1 Wr was Luis Itturey.

I don't think he's a can't-miss type of player.

If Bama wants him, we should want him.

Of course, but he isn't elite imo, too many DB's in 2018. Gurvan Hall, Frierson, Al Blades, Surtain jr., Tyson Campbell, are all great prospects. All are SEC type of guys & they aren't overaged.

I don't understand why people actually as in its a colleges fault if a kid doesn't want to go there. Everyone wants something in particular out of a college. Maybe we don't provide that. All that being said decommittment or not he aint going nowhere. But all this meltdown **** & irrational nonsense over oh well 2040 will be loaded at dB or maybe next year is stupid & dramatic. 2018 with or without him we gonna have a monster db haul. Be dramatic about that instead of the negative yall. Celebrate what we have & **** on the rest. Yall always wanna talk about butch. His closer was the same as Jimmie. Either get on this train or get ran the **** over.
