Veteran Alabama Defensive Back weighing Transfer

Not much on him on one of the Bama boards, but the few folks who posted seem to think
he was pretty good.
He doesn't sound like someone buried in the depth chart.
Also, it sounds like he is eligible to play right away.
Good find OP.

If you have scholarships available and these kids are seniors who wouldn't impact future recruiting classes/numbers, you'd be crazy not to look at EVERY grad transfer as positions of need.

A lot of experience lol, he has hardly played, just been around a lot

On vacation for a week and 1st thread I see is about pathtic folden......now reading that we have not opportunities for left overs & how desperate we are

Hopefully some better news on the recruiting board. This season needs to start already.

He's played in over 30 games IIRC, sparingly on defense but a lot on ST. According to their board he was set to start at the Star(Nickel DB) position and they were ****ed he's transferring.

Sounds like you need to go back to vacation.

He lost his starting nickel job to Minkah Fitzpatrick. As an immediately eligible graduate transfer, I'd welcome him immediately.

He's a take all day. Would give us a veteran secondary with size to go along with a nasty D line. This guy isn't a scrub, Alabama secondary is loaded.

He was going to start at nickle this year. Minkah FitzpatrickIs is taking the starting CB role. Miami has to be all over this. Our secondary would be very versatile. Gives you another special team guy.

Do we even have a scholly to give out? I thought the only one we had to give out went to that FB

So true. One of Folden's best recruits ever was a grad transfer (not Jake Heaps) - Pat O'Donnell.

Why would he leave if he hung around there forever and never played. Now, supposedly, he's set to start, and he wants to leave? Doesn't compute. Doubt he winds up leaving.

Maybe he wants a bigger role

Exactly.Sounds like he wants more playing time and it sounds like he is leaving Alabama.Wonder if the coaches are interested?
