Hey ..it could be that they DO work. Maybe they're the "final straw" that keeps the admin from keeping him after a 6 or 7 win season. I just dont think the admin gives 2 ***** about it.

The sad part is the people who want to fly the banners are doing it for the kids, the program, and the fanbase. Please show me one banner that was directed at anyone other than Golden.

The problem with your statement is that you have no evidence that it has no effect. Major media is playing on TV. You think the administration likes to be embarrassed like that?

And the problem with your question is that if the banners were having an effect, it would seem that Golden would be gone already. Banners started flying last year; how many does it take to get him fired?

Bottom line is that the admin will fire him when we lose a few games this season, which is bound to happen; the ball might get rolling tonight. The W-L column is what determines Golden's career, not banners. Banners when we're undefeated don't do squat.
