Vanderbilt

Teams relying on the run game take longer to score, if they score. If they get down by 2 scores in the fourth quarter, it makes it very difficult to overcome. If anyone should know that, it’s Miami.
Arch probably had 80+ yards passing the last 3 drives of the game so what you’re saying doesn’t make any sense. Also OSU won the TOP by 5 minutes. They sat on the ball bc they couldn’t move it.

Rewatch the game with an actual open mind and you’ll see how wrong you are on your analysis.

Yeah Miami needs to be perfect. Seems fair.
Exactly. Miami has to be PERFECT. I'd be more understanding if Miami was losing to pure trash, like Texas. Miami lost to a solid Louisville team(who may still end up winning 8-9 games), and a SMU team that may do the exact same thing. Miami is losing close games to quality opponents. That said, because they aren't SEC or B1G teams, none of it matters.

Yeah, because Ohio State was playing prevent defense and letting Arch complete the easier, short completions lol

This is what’s most irritating to me and the point of starting this thread. Why our the 2 losses we have considered to bad? Why does the ACC get so much ****? Is it really justified? I think for a good while you might have been able to argue SEC superiority but that was the Saban era and there’s no way in absolute **** an Alabama team coached by Saban gets dominated by 4-5 FSU, or loses to Vandy. Like others have mentioned, there’s more parity in CFB right now compared to 2008-2022ish.

The ACC might not have a complete team but there are some dangerous offenses and solid QB’s in the league who give some of the middle-of-the-teams a chance each week. Some SEC Simpleton mentioned something stupid about how the SEC deserves favorably because apparently they have more players on an active roster than anyone else. Okay cool so if we go that route than Miami should be ranked in front of Vandy because I sure as **** know we have NFL pro-bowlers playing every week and maybe even a future HOF in Campbell.

It will be Texas
They are already setting it up. I heard some talking heads discuss that if they split the UGA/TAMU games then that means they beat one of them on the road and since that’s such a “good win”, that could slide them in as a 3 loss team.

Absolutely hilarious. They want to give credit to Texas for losing.

They’re best wins - 2-3 loss UGA or 1-2 loss A&M, and probable 3 loss teams Vandy and OU

That’s not a resume that beaks the glass for a 3 loss team.

Also can we talk about A&M’s schedule? Outside of ND they’ve played nobody.
