He is the third member of the Tigers No. 2-ranked 2014 signing class to leave. Defensive tackle Trey Lealaimatafao was kicked off the team after being arrested for punching and robbing a woman in June and linebacker Clifton Garrett left the team and decided to transfer out in mid-June. Both have transferred to Arizona Western Community College. Several internet reports say Valentine will also transfer there.

Just goes to show that we are not the only school with attrition problems. LSU signed 26 players in 2014 and had the #2 class overall. They have already lost 2 of their top 5 recruits and both their DT signees.

There was a reason he transferred for his senior season. Bayside couldn't find a way to get him on the field any more so they suggested a private school. It was all downhill from there

He should flourish at Arizona Western. They offer degrees in carpentry, HV&C, and massage therapy. If he can't make it academically at LSU, he ain't ever going to set foot on Muami' campus as a student/player.

Theoretically, he could go from juco to the league..

Who was the last person to do that? I can't think of one anytime in the last decade. Eric Swann maybe?

Some highly ranked WR, I think he might of been drafted by the Bucs. If not he was an UDFA.

Mike williams

Not the same thing. He played at USC, and played **** well. He sat out a year because he fought for the right to enter the league early and lost.

and mike williams who was drafted to the bucs was the one from syracuse, not USC

Kid like this will be forgotten about. Then all of a sudden you will be watching a random Fox Sports Pacific game one Saturday night at 11:30 between Utah and Arizona State and there he will be wrecking havoc for the sun devils. He will ball out one year and leave for the league.

LOL! This situation is precisely why I always find myself ignoring recruiting. Every 3rd or 4th year I come crawling back, just to be burnt once again. There's so much bull****, and misinformation in recruiting. An "expert" and literally say anything and it would be taken as true. The problem with following recruiting is that nothing tangible happens until they put pen to paper. Nothing is visible, nothing is real. Kids are protecting themselves; "experts" are protecting their access.

Why do we love sports so much? Because they're real. The games on Saturdays are real. You can watch the results unfold for yourself. Recruiting can't be more fake. I have to imagine that there is a ridiculous amount of stuff going on behind the scenes. Everyone has their own conspiracy theories. Following recruiting is like reading the national inquirer or watching TMZ. The only way to enjoy recruiting is to do your own evaluations, but its very time consuming.

Remember when Leader of the Men said Valentine could get into Stanford if he wanted to? Lulz

Now Drummond is the head of curriculum at his new "school". Him and Tunsil are up to no good.

SJB Academy, haha what a ******* scam. The staff is hilarious.

I remember Tunsil's brother coming on here saying how he cared so much about the community. Tunsil and Drummond are both low life scumbags trying to find anyway to line their pockets.

dude failed multiple drug test at lsu......

its lsu they would of made sure his grades were straight..if he was worth it.

Didn't know about the failed drug test, **** that young man has somethings to work out which I hope he does other wise we are looking at a Charles Deas 2.0 situation. For those that remember all world 2006 DT Charles Deas from Dillard HS that went to LSU then bounced around some lower level schools an finally poof disappeared.

And be broke and or committing crimes within three years of entering the league.
