Then about 15 min ago reminding me of the exact same situation in 2019 with VT at 2-2 barely beating Furman and getting blown out by Duke the previous 2 weeks and wanting Miami to end the Fuente era... then VT goes into Miami with RS freshman Hendon Hooker in his first career start and beats us 42-35 and kicks off a 6-1 run that saved his job and eventually lead to 2 more years of Fuente.

Who are they going to get who wants to go to that crappy place?
They want to convince Beamer's Son to leave South Carolina or something?

Also, a hot shot coach who is highly coveted will want to know the school's situation with conference realignment.

I asked the same thing. Wouldn't be up to him obviously but from people he associates with at games they would like Jamey Chadwell which would be a good hire for them.

If I were them I'd be focused on an offensive minded HC. GJ Kinne if he'd take it. Maybe Dan Mullen if he wants to coach. I'd probably settle for Jason Candle if I were them.

That name cracks me up every time. I feel like Mario will eventually get him as an analyst or something.

I remember that all too well. We actually came back and took the lead in that game only to blow it again. Hooker's coming out party... Which sounds like something not football related at all.
