Lawson must suck to nt play last year. I'm good on him
We're fine with Kaaya (2 more years), Rosier (3 more years), Shirreffs (4 more years) and Allison (incoming, 4/5 years). Lawson gave up his spot to Shirreffs, and while he's the better athlete, I think we got the better QB for our system. ... Good for Va Tech. Hope they finally start winning some of their OOC games (other than their win vs. the Buckeyes 2 years ago, I can't remember when they won a big OOC game). Either way, we still kick their ***.
Why would we want Lawson back? Nothing personal, but he doesn't fit the offense we've been running nor the offense anyone expects us to be running next year. I never understood why the kid wanted to come here. Was ok with him figuring he could end up a receiver or something if he didn't make the cut at QB, but I don't see that he's worth taking at this point.
Also, until proven otherwise, VT and all their QBs eat a d**k.
The kid has a good arm and was a pocket passer in high school. 6'5" 220.
Why doesn't he fit our system??

Thought I recalled him being listed as "dual-threat". Not that ability to run is a bad thing, but it seems like many of those kids use they're legs to get out of situations instead of building accuracy out of necessity. Again, nothing against him I just don't see why we'd spend a scholly on him when we don't have any linemen committed.
