We'll get our rush yards when we have to. Currently, there has been no need to do so. As long as teams are obsessed with stopping the run, and you have a QB that can make them pay, you go ahead and pass the ball a bit more than you run it. This hurts the rushing numbers, but it does not mean you CAN'T run the ball. It means your OC is taking what the D gives him. It means your QB can recognize what the D is giving.

By the way, one good thing about running the ball is time of possession. Still, we rank in the top 20 in TOP this year, despite our rush numbers. Our 3rd down conversion rate is quite high. We rarely punt. So yeah, I am not concerned with rushing stats. When Cam can tell the D where we are running it at the goal line, and they still can't stop it, I'd call that progress over the last decade plus.
