V-Tech Vs Duke

Duke left 6 off board late going for it on 4th in easy FG range

Game was home for by as opposed to road on short week when Duke was still undefeated.

As far as looking at Clemson, Clemson beat GT by same spread in Clemson as they did beating VT in Blacksburg.

VT has played 2 away games. at ECU and at BC (pre offense BC)

Their best win was WVU. Here’s a fun fact about VTs offense.
Every power 5 opponent has scored same or more points vs WVU than VT.
And yes that list includes Kansas

Couple things...
- It was raining
- Our run defense is terrible so they'll just run it down our throat
- This isn't the Frank Beamer offense. VT can score and all they honestly need is is 24-28 points and it wrapps.
- Have you seen our offense? 24 points with 4 forced and a punt block and 3/5 turnovers had us inside UNC territory 2 which had us in the red zone.
- VT doesn't turn over the ball.
- We don't scare anyone but what does scare me is our O-line, offense, and run defense.

Our Run Defense is fools gold for opponents. we'll give up a couple big plays but if you stick to the ground you aint gonna move the ball consistently.
As much as we complain about our offense Their offense is much more inefficient. Also we dont turn the ball over either.

Every game people post about all the ways we can possibly lose and every week we just win.
Nothing different this week except the losing mascot ( whatever the heck a hokie is).

Our offense needs to feed off the crowd and execute. The playmakers need to make plays. Richards has to have a big game.

I think we can create a lot of problems for their offense. Their QB is a freshman who hasn’t played a big road game yet. The only time they played a defensive front like ours, they got shredded.
 
as much as the message board morons were screaming blowout last week, they will be screaming we have no shot this week, its always the extreme and never reality which is always somewhere in the middle.. fact is we'll probably have a chance to win this game late..
 
VT is good but beatable. Their weakness from the games I've watched are the dbs. Manny has shown the willomg.to **** down what the other teams does best. That's why cuse has so many rush yards but we totally shut down their passing attack. It will be a battle, but nothing truly scares me of any of the oppenents we have left.
