UVA Matchup

I'll be happy with a one point win...winning is all that matters. Don't forget, Virginia has nothing to lose since they have nothing to gain except to possibly upset our highly ranked team...each game gets bigger as the season ends making this game just as important as the VT and ND games...fans will still be a factor

yes a 1 point win would be nice

but IF we lose to clemson (for the record we can beat them) then 1 point wins over UVA will drastically hurt our chances to get in the CFP. so yeah 1 point wins wouldn't make most or the board or myself very happy, especially when we're 18 point favorites.

that's all out the window if we beat clemson, but that would be hindsight so we gotta take care of business in good fashion the next two weeks

Season couldn't have set up better. Progressively more difficult opponents. Had the two biggest games at home. Now coming down from that high, another home game. If we'd been on the road this week, I'd be seriously worried about the team looking past UVA. But we get them at home, which is perfect. Then the last game of the season is on the road, but I feel like the team will be ready to feast knowing they one win away from going undefeated in the regular season.

The team is ranked no 2 the first time in my adult life they won't come out flat but I don't think it's gonna be a blow out either.

Yards per play not going up is incredible
If my math is correct, it actually went down.
We allowed 560 total yards on 138 plays over the two games, which is 4.06 yards per play.
9 defensive points allowed/game
.
30% 3rd down conversion.
8 turnovers created.

It’s very possible that this team plays up or down to the competition
That said, I think the pride and confidence of the last two
Big W’s breaks that trend. Can’t wait for another win.

I don't know much at all about Mendenhall's style of play. Do they still adhere to that infamous 3-4 "Al Groh defense?"

I could be wrong, but I juts don't see this team overlooking anyone, will they be as jacked up as they were the last two games...no, but all it'll take is a little success from UVA and them thinking they have a chance and Miami will zero in, similar to Toledo. As much fun as this team has they take a very business like approach.
I feel like they really now believe in themselves and know they have an incredible opportunity, they've fought they're way up to the top, letting some mediocre team take it away from them just seems highly unlikely to me.
