UTenn vs Illinois

Amazing! Another SEC team that would obviously win the ACC, B1G, Big 12, or any other G5 conference lost a bowl game to a slightly above average Illinois team. How did that happen.

Perhaps a SEC fan on here can explain that to me, or most likely make excuses why they lost.

Illinois won so by default they are better but these bowl games in general have become toothless. ****, just a year ago this board was filled with posts talking about the bowl game loss shouldn’t even be considered a loss because we just didn’t care.

I actually think Morgan has done a good job in the Draft and FA - it's a much more competitive team and, although they won't admit it, it's pretty clear Morgan and Canales got their respective jobs because they agreed to try and run it back with Young - but **** me they need to man up and tell Tepper they're moving on from his love child.

I can't speak to the Giants - although don't they have a QB? (who's going to have to retire in 3 years because he refuses to slide)

I'm definitely not sold on dart as a franchise QB. Kid loves the game I'll give him that. But I'm just not sure he'll ever play at a high enough level that he'll be worth it and yes his concussions are reminiscent of tua at this point. I think personally Dan is doing an amazing job. Some of the young talent he's brought in is laying the foundation for your future. I have t watched enough to have much of an opinion on young. But from an outsiders opinion just from his game at the college level I had questions on how he'd be able to transition to the NFL level. So complaints makes sense to me.
