I use a wheelchair when I am able to go to games (also due to a stroke) and I highly, highly recommend the ADA sections. They are by far your best bet for so many reasons - comfort, access to bathrooms, concessions, ability to get to/from seats, etc.
I find that if I am not familiar with a particular venue, that it can be helpful to call or email and work with someone with the venue or with the team or whatever organization I’m going to see. That way someone can help make sure I’m in the section I’d like to be in (here, with the Canes) and answer any questions (parking, wheelchair ramps, any other needs?). People are generally very helpful at the venue as well, but make sure to leave yourselves extra time as things tend to take longer when you’re mobility-challenged!
Let me know if you have any other questions. Happy to help!
