It's been better than I expected. Usually these start up leagues are awful but this hasn't been that bad. Kind of like a G5 game

Calvin Ashley… he was a big time recruit, wasn’t he?

He was.

He was a former 5-star OT that was originally from Washington DC, he transferred to IMG for a year, then went back to St. John’s, then went to Dr. Phillips...

He signed with Auburn out of HS, but never played & then transferred to FAU, then transferred again & finished out his college career at FAMU.

Damn, forgot about this guy. True Marco Polo of football - played at 3 high schools and then 3 colleges. One of the bigger 5 star busts in recent history.

I believe he also played for 1/2 a season at Bishop Sycamore.

For reals.

Was a good crowd last night. Especially for here in Birmingham where it’s all about UA and AU. That’s UAB’s brand new stadium. Way better than the dump in the hood that they used to play in. They did a good job with this one. I’ll definitely go back again.

Jeff Thomas team is playing the Tampa Bay Bandits now on FS1. JT hasn’t done much but a few fair catches on PR and KR mostly because his teams offense is completely garbage.
