usf was the first to expose us with motion last year

So they "exposed us" and showed motion would "fry us", but their one and only touchdown was on a trick play in a 50-15 loss.
uh ... i'll try to explain it ... opponents build on previous game plans ... they find what works and they attack it ... think the rest of year and the amount of shifts and motions we saw ... the confusion it caused ... alot of it originated from this game ... we won the game ... but tape was produced on how to attack our defense and each week teams attacked it relentlessly which led to coverage bust after coverage bust

Yes they were and our ends also could not set an edge for their lives. Zero contain.

Also Gramatica is a weapon. Remember him hitting some ones from way out on us.

We couldn’t get lined up against anyone last year. It was always a Chinese fire drill. This year I do not see that so far. But yes, good test this weekend.

i rewatched the game last night. USF scored ONE TD (first possession) and three field goals. that´s it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we did remarkably well even though 31 couldn't get to the flat on time then and probably now, 2 was 2 steps behind each receiver (hence his uniform number), 7 made ANOTHER poor choice in run fit which resulted in ANOTHER 50 yard run and countless other atrocities on D too painful to recite without another SSRI pill (i'm out right now).

in this and other threads, we've focused almost exclusively on their offense v our defense. let's not forget we also play offense. last year, we generated 600 yards and moved the ball at will and were slowed down ONLY by our own errors, including a ball that 3 couldn't handle and ended up being a int.

of course, they are probably better than last year and rightfully are more confident. we are significantly better on D and maybe even on offense.

lastly, we are playing at home, which gives us ANOTHER advantage.

WE ROLL MENG!

Teams have tried to use motion this year already based off last years film. Much better rotation at safety/lb and nothing has really killed us so far.

On elusive qbs -- I am hoping its just a matter of game prep. I don't think they expected ND to be that elusive. And BC is BC - very vanilla. Let's see how we respond now that we have 2 weeks of USF tape where they through everything at their opponent.

So intense he played prevent and allowed ND to overcome a 14 point lead…

There’s still a Pillsbury on the sidelines

From 2 games are team seems a lot more disciplined on defense. Even Messidor and Bain last year played very undisciplined football. As long as the trend continues I think we should be fine.
