Every year there is a team or two that gets hyped up for really no good reason. Florida was that team this year. More than a few people had them making a run this year and thinking Lagway was some kind of generational talent.

Lagway is **** good but bad coaching and injury will make even the greatest look bad. It will be interesting to see where Lagway is playing next season.

The savings on travel aren't worth scheduling these off-brand Florida schools because there is no upside and people go crazy if you take an L.

Better to schedule a 2nd name brand OOC opponent or a random Big 12 team.

i want to play west virginia and rutgers back on schedule or Maryland.

If not.....Schedule schools in places u want recruiting footholes......TULANE, HOUSTON, UNC CHARLOTTE

Other than that i dont care if its certain cupcakes...The bIg 10..Pen State, UF live off of bs schedules....UF finally got caught this year with their schedule. Look at the bs UNC plays this year
 


This does not look like a qb that should beat us. Rarely throws downfield. Shifty as a runner, but should have a tough time sustaining drives.

On the other side, looks like the Miami OL is much better than UF. Also, lagway looked like he was bailing in the pocket early. Maybe from injury/lack of reps. When they started opening it up in 2H he seemed to have some success.

I’ll say this: if the Miami defense holds USF to 18 points like UF did, we better win the game. UF lost this game as much as USF won it. Sloppy, disjointed performance from the gators.

If we were talking about FIU or FAU, I’d agree. There is no risk/gain reward.
But playing USF gets attention in the Tampa MSA and there are good High School football players here, as well as a lot of Cane fans.

With UF sinking, the Tampa area is wide open to UM. Everything from I-4 South should be Miami’s recruiting center.
