Nah we need a more diverse / explosive running game. We have plenty in the WR room.
Unless Lyle is healthy, I don’t believe we have a running back who can break a long run. Fletcher and Brown are going to get us 3 to 5 to 10 to maybe 15 yards but it would be very unusual for them to bust one longer. How many runs does Fletcher have over 20 yard yards since he arrived in Miami? He had that one long 55 yard TD versus Virginia, or maybe it was Louisville, his freshman year, but other than that, I cannot remember any other ‘go the distance’ from him.

What I really don’t like and maybe I misunderstood what Mario said, but he thinks after pounding the ball inside enough, you’re eventually going bust those plays. This may be true, but what about in the meantime?

How many ******* times do we have to see the other team score and then come up with a three and out of our own? How many times last year that this team tank?

I’m not saying Miami is going do that today, maybe not, but it seems Mario’s answer to a team adjusting to our inside running game is to run inside even more inside, as if he’s trying to prove a point. TUF and FYZIKAL.
