USF expanding capacity for Miami vs USF game

Louisville or Syracuse if Cuse can keep winning games they should win.

11/30 will be a tough W if we go into that game and they have ACCCG implications which seems very likely... their toughest game before us is between the VT/Cal/Pitt/BC cluster of mid teams.
Definitely Louisville. I'd expect Cal to be a good test too, on road across country, and they've usually played pretty tough defense under Wilcox.

Somebody...get the address and share it...

Definitely a good test... just meant the environment. I don't think Cal gets very rowdy unless Marshawn Lynch is out there taking a golf cart for a spin
Yeah I doubt it'll be crazy and Syracuse has the benefit as far as noise of being in a dome.

But if Cal beat FSU this week, this will probably be their biggest home game that isn't Stanford (just due to rivalry) in a while tbh. They'll be off to their first 4-0 start since 2019. That year they started 4-0 with wins against Washington and Ole Miss on the road, got ranked 15th, and played ASU at home week 5 and lost. But ASU was unranked. Also the last time they had a top 10 team play them in Berkeley without already having like 4 losses was 2017 against #5 USC when they were 3-0 with wins against Ole Miss and UNC.

If Cal ends up ranked after this week (possible) it'll be the first time they hosted a ranked opponent while they were ranked since like 2009. So I wouldn't be surprised if this is like the best non-stanford turnout they've had in like a decade..... if they are ranked at least.

Hope they get that W and it's a ranked matchup.

Crazy to have to travel across the country for a conference game AND the home team coming off a bye. Should be the other way around, no??

Didn't realize that was the case.

Decent chance that College Gameday shows up for the Cal game if both teams are undefeated and ranked... The obvious preseason pick for that week was Michigan-Washington, but both teams look bad this year.

I would be completely shocked if game day goes all the way to Cal for that
There are only a small handful of P4 schools that have never hosted Gameday and Cal is one of them -- I wouldn't be surprised if ESPN takes that into consideration. Plus, there probably won't be any other ranked matchups that week.

I thought they’d be a desirable spot that week for sure but college gameday was supposed to go to Cal one week and they respectfully declined the invite. Could be a similar scenario if it comes up again
