The problem is that those programs didn't have the "cloud" hanging over their head, and unfortunately for us, the wind was also a factor in making sure the cloud was anchored above us and visible, especially in the night time.

They hired decent coaches, who can also recruit pretty well.

We hired a decent recruiter, who can't coach at all.

USC was a botched Hail Mary vs. ASU away from winning the very strong Pac-12 South in Sarkisian's first year there with just 51 scholarship players. They play at an extremely fast pace with an entertaining style of play that will surely appeal to elite recruits across the country.

Al Golden, in Year 4 at Miami, led us to our third losing season since 1980 and tied for last in the pathetic ACC Coastal despite losing just 9 scholies over 3 years. We play at a maddeningly slow pace to try to shorten games and mask deficiencies on both sides of the ball, which is incredibly boring to watch and doesn't showcase the caliber of athletes found in our stellar recruiting base.

F*** everything.

Forgot to mention that Ohio State is in the Playoff with sanctions. None of them have used it as an excuse and continue to demand excellence at their national brands while we are too busy applauding Al for being loyal

You will probably kill yourself. But do a Bing or Google search on the record of Penn state since their sanctions and 4 year bowl ban vs ours.

Actually SC has 65. I've also heard 57 when watching them on the tube. Bottom line they have done more with less.

They will be **** good next year.

OSwho sanctions ended prior to last season. At least I think that's what I read.

Penn State really didn't suffer much more than a slap on the wrist and a huge PR mess and having to write a check (which may or may not happen).

They had their entire situation solved faster than we did.
