He’s greatly improved their profile, sure. And he flipped a few players, like that WR that was committed to Nebraska. The one who had his breakout game against Southern Cal. I actually like what he’s done, believe it or not. I’m not a hater.

I just resist the notion he’s some savant coach and recruiter who’s going to take over college football in the next few seasons.

College football is desperate for personalities, and Deion provides one.

Understood. But that's today's media model; King one day, Bum the next (Dabo and Saban are getting it at the first sign of decline). To me anyway, he just seems more savvy in manipulating them and using social media than the status quo. I thought it was bazaar allowing cameras into those first few meetings, but that established a message to recruits/portalers that it was open to come and grab a position. In the end he may not take over college football, but right now he's a coach taking advantage of his edge when he can, like most ware apt to do.

IDK who he will ultimately flip but he continues to get the big time blue chip guys on campus for games. Some of them have even said they will OV there. Remains to be seen how many he can buy-convince.
