USC offers Kaaya

Nice. Gonna be a tough 1 to hold on to. It's a good thing Coley jumped on him early.

Lol it's hard to offer a woman proposal when she is already married

Sorry USC and UCLA we got Kaaya locked up go some where else

This is why and where the Coley hire was such a coup......
Trust in our OC, if not on game day never doubt him on the recruiting trail.

I've seen enough of Al's staff offering 3*s and then those 3*s subsequently getting major offers to conclude that they can evaluate with the best of 'em.

I'm blown away by USC and UCLA offering so many months after we did. USC has to be a distant third here.

Brad Kaaya ‏@TrinidadBrad 24m I am committed to The University of Miami, but would just like to say thank you to the USC coaching staff for offering me a scholarship.

via espn Kaaya: “It’s awesome to get an offer from USC even though I’m committed. I grew up going to all the games and I got kind of crushed when I went to the USC camp my freshman year. I heard a coach in the bathroom say, ‘There’s no future Trojans here.’ That was a long time ago. This means a lot to me and my family.”

Funny to see the inverse of the local kids who grew up following UM and then bounce. I think he sticks but we won't know till we know.

i don't think theres a question that he can evaluate, the question is can we hold on to this kid (I'm gonna say we do)

We reeled in the best QB in Cali and now USC and UCLA are scrambling. That's what happens when you fall asleep at the wheel.

That's what happens when Golden comes to your side of town. Hide yo kids, hide yo wife, and hide yo recruits

The young man has been a Cane since his offer and commitment. I sincerely doubt he changes his pledge at this point. However, I for one find it encouraging to see other major programs finally recognize what our coaches recognized early. IMO, the young man sticks.
