Sure, they had waaaaaayyyyyy worse actual sanctions, but they didn't have a cloud.- Al Golden

LMAO @ comparing USC's athletic department to UM's.

****, USC had interim head coaches that were better than any of our permanent hires since donna's arrival.

Haden, their AD, came running onto the field to dispute a bad call. What's that tell you about the admin at SC? They wanna win T.O.D.A.Y!!!

And Pat Hayden is on the playoff selection committee.

they kept firing coaches who they didn't think were getting it done.

edit: while they were under scholly reduction. no talk of cloud bull**** out west was saving an underachiever.

Sarkasian isn't even all that great a coach IMO, but still worlds better than Golden.

Just shows you how bad these guys are.

Sarkisian would have killed to have Kaaya, Duke, Walford, Dorsett, and Perryman on his team.

Joe, you can't compare. USC did not have to play an underachieving UVA every year. Plus, my excuses would not fly in California. Are you kidding me, Joe.

Are you guys really comparing the teams that Pete Carroll left at USC to the teams that Al Golden inherited from Randy Shannon?

It's comparing apples and pinecones.

OH really? Steve Sarkisian took over for Pete Carroll? Lane Kiffin didn't coach there for almost four seasons? News to me.

57 scholarship players, let that sink in. They actually had limitations... not this ******* cloud BS. They had actual ******* sanctions.

the point is that under drastic reductions they stayed competitive....and fired coaches who they didn't think were keeping them where they should be. there was no excuse...even though they had a better reason to use one than miami.

This is true. USC had no excuses even when they lost so many players from the sanctions. Their AD was like win or leave
