USAYesterday goes scorched earth on CFP

All this pressure could cause a call to the ACC to make sure we don’t win in Pitt
Bingo! This is the most likely scenario. With the way that the refs and the ACC regularly ***** our Canes, does anyone think they won’t do their best to keep us out to stay in the good graces of the SEC/ESPN mafia?

We don’t even get fair calls when we play at home. When it’s on the road, it’s even worse.

Hopefully, more media types, like Barrie Jackson, pick this story up and why isn't Mario out there making the case!?
Mario’s job is to keep the team focused on the upcoming game. One step at a time.

He has, subtly, made comments in pressers about “field test” mattering over “eye test,” or that head-to-head is everything in this sport.

If we win Saturday, I expect him to go scorched earth. But one thing at a time.

No leadership, no rhyme or reason with what they are shoveling at the fans. The poster who said the whole thing is rigged isn’t wrong. Total cluster. I think we all know that there's no leader because Greg Sankey (SEC) is driving the bus.

The late great comedian George Carlin, in talking about our political leaders used to say that they all belonged to the same club which we (regular people) did not belong to. This is, in essence, UM athletics. The Big10 and SEC programs salivate at a program like UVA, SMU or Duke representing the ACC because they look at them as harmless, cuddly programs. Meanwhile, the ACC despises us for other reasons so they play along.

The easy fix is 2 play in games for the extra spots. That gives 4 bubbles teams a fair shot with the caveat that ND has to play in the play in if they are slated in or a bubble team. Since they don’t have to play in a conference championship they have to play another worthy opponent.
So depending on the year 15 or 16 teams.
4 bubble to play in 13-17
IF ND is already slated in 1-12. 3 bubbles bc ND has to play the other play in game.

If the committee wants to keep shoving Notre Dame down people’s throats, fine. But then the committee is brain dead if we beat Pitt and they don’t try and get a playoff rematch in South Bend.

Catholics v. Convicts II in the same season where the biggest point of playoff contention is whether or not the Irish would beat us in a rematch is some WWE ish.

**** the Big 12. **** another SEC team. The Indiana and SMU matchups from last year gave the committee a green light to do what’s best for the sport.

A first round Miami vs. Notre Dame revenge game under the lights would do nuclear TV numbers.
You dont do it in the first round though. Spread them out. ND and miami are rating giants.
