I’m starting to think the Media pressure will actually put Miami in over ND if we win this weekend…
That or the ACC/ESPN will make sure that VT beats UVA & Wake beats Duke and Miami plays SMU in the championship and gets an auto bid.
I can’t explain it but I feel more confident that the ACC championship will have us in it…..
Wake/VT can absolutely win in this weekend.
If we miss the championship game/the CFP I want Duke to win it that way the ACC is excluded and they get to sit with the fact they ****ed over their ONLY chance at a legitimate playoff run.

It would be the ACC best interest for this to happen.
If they put an 11 ranked ACC team (not Miami) into the playoffs and gets shellacked. ACC is gonna get the G5 treatment next year

The committee has been rigged since day 1. The year they kept both Baylor and TCU out due to not having a conference championship game, but then the following year allowed a non conference champion to get in showed how inconsistent their logic is. They just spin the narrative to fit who they want.

Don’t think it’s either or. We go up to Pitt and run a reasonably clean operation and win and we’re both in is my guess.

If the committee wants to keep shoving Notre Dame down people’s throats, fine. But then the committee is brain dead if we beat Pitt and they don’t try and get a playoff rematch in South Bend.
Catholics v. Convicts II in the same season where the biggest point of playoff contention is whether or not the Irish would beat us in a rematch is some WWE ish.
**** the Big 12. **** another SEC team. The Indiana and SMU matchups from last year gave the committee a green light to do what’s best for the sport.
A first round Miami vs. Notre Dame revenge game under the lights would do nuclear TV numbers.
